Hiking in Scottsdale
One of the great things to do outside in Scottsdale during most of the year (excluding the summer months) is to go for a hike. And talk about some beautiful scenery! The views seems to go on forever. One of my favorite places to hike is Pinnacle Peak. This is a popular hike though, and sometimes it can be a little crowded. You’ll even see the occasional rock climber hanging from a ledge. This trail is considered “moderate” and it covers 1 3/4 miles with an elevation of approximately 1300 feet.
Another very popular trail is Camelback Mountain. Located in Phoenix, around Camelback and 48th Street, this trail is more for the intermediate to experienced. The McDowell Mountain Regional Park offers a variety of trails and also bike riding paths.
Go to www.scottsdale-attractions.10-best.info/outdoors.html to find out about all of the trails that are in the area. With over twenty to choose from, you will easily be able to find one that fits your physical level. Hiking…yet another reason to enjoy the great outdoors in Arizona!
