New Restaurant in North Scottsdale

I recently had the pleasure of eating at a new restaurant in North Scottsdale.  There are so many good restaurants to choose from in the area, but it’s always fun to try something new. Harvest Restaurant is the name and it is located on the north corner of a center called The Shops at Pinnacle Peak. (Pinnacle Peak Road and Miller)

They moved into a space that was formerly occupied by a bank and completely remodeled it with an open, modern interior and two spacious outdoor patios.  They feature items for breakfast, lunch and dinner and also have a full bar.  From what I know, the folks that opened this restaurant bring their concept from New Jersey, where they had a very successful operation.  Known for their pancakes, the crowd for breakfast proves that they must be something to check out.  Their menu includes several different breakfast items, which are served until 3 p.m.  They also have great burgers, sandwiches and salads.  Their dinner menu includes homemade soups and some very good unusual items like roast duck or crab cakes.  I would recommend stopping by and meeting John and Christine to sample the menu and give your opinion on which type of pancake is your favorite!
