75th Annual Waste Management Phoenix Open

The 75th Annual Waste Management Phoenix Open starts February 22, 2010 and the final round will conclude February 28, 2010. Kenny Perry will defend his 2009 title.  He won last years tournament in dramatic fashion after sinking a 22 foot birdie putt on the third hole of a playoff with Charley Hoffman. Historically the tournament’s final round is played to coincide with the start of the Superbowl.  This year the “Greatest Show On Grass” has a new sponsor Waste Management and is being played weeks after the Saints Superbowl victory.  With temperatures in the mid 70s for this years Waste Management Phoenix Open, record crowds are expected.  The new sponsor is promoting a “Greener” Open this year by promoting its Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle initiatives.  My real estate team and I traditionally venture out to the opening round on Thursday.
